The Haverstraw Neighborhood Fund in partnership with the Village & Town of Haverstraw hosted the annual Back-to-School backpack event.
Emily Dominguez, event organizer would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, donors, who made this past Sunday happen.
When all is done we will have distributed over 800 backpacks filled with necessary school supplies for the children in the community. Emily Dominguez, says “our children are the future and we’re happy to be able to send them back to school fully prepared”. The day included late lunch, kids activities, and an evening movie.
