ROCKLAND’S CLEAN ENERGY PROGRAM: Renewable Energy & Competitive, Fixed Rates
June 21 and 27 Online Info Sessions: Get Answers to Your Questions
In November 2020, six Rockland communities launched a clean energy program for residents and small businesses. Eighteen months later, the program has delivered over $3.83 million in cost savings to program participants. This program will renew in the fall in Clarkstown, Orangetown, and the Villages of Haverstraw, Nyack, and Upper Nyack, with five new communities joining.
The Rockland Community Power program provides renewable electricity supply at competitive, fixed rates, with no contracts for consumers. The program gives each of us a way to reduce our carbon footprint, while capping electricity supply rates.
