The Village of Haverstraw (the “Village” or “Haverstraw”) and thank you for your interest in our Chair Factory Development Site (the “Site”). We are excited to showcase these waterfront parcels, currently known as the Chair Factory and Damiani Properties. The Village has owned this area for several years and we are ready for development. This 9+ acre combined parcel sits on a peninsula at the foot of Main Street at the widest point of the Hudson River, and features views of High Tor Mountain, Westchester and Bowline PointPark.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to obtain proposals from a select group of developers and select one of the Respondents, led by the Lead Development Firm and supported by a Project Team of design and other professional consultants, as the Preferred Developer for the Site. The Preferred Developer would implement the redevelopment of the Site consistent with the principles identified herein and create a marquis project befitting of the Village and a project that Haverstraw residents can be proud of for generations.
