Program Details
Recreation – Haverstraw Center has a variety of daily recreational programs, including open gym, basketball, arts and crafts, computer room, game room, and others. Please check the weekly schedule for times and age groups.
The Salvation Army offers classes for youth beginning on the second, third and fourth Wednesday of the month during the school year from 6:00 pm thru 8:00 pm. They continue to offer troop programs for children/teens, instrumental lessons with an emphasis on brass and karate classes. An average of 20-25 participants attends their programming.
Holiday Celebrations – Haverstraw Center hosts holiday celebrations throughout the year, open to youth and families in the community. These include a Halloween parade, Thanksgiving Luncheon, Winter Holiday Celebration, a Back To School event, End of School Year celebration, and others.
