Village of Haverstraw will introduce developers for Chair Factory Site

The Village of Haverstraw has completed it’s RFP process and chosen a developer for the “Chair Factory” property (9 acres) that it owns on the Hudson River, adjacent to Emeline Park. The Village will be introducing the developers to the press and public at a news conference on Thursday, February 17 that 11:30. The site of the press conference will be at the lookout at the foot of Main Street, overlooking the development site and the Hudson River. Renderings and details of the proposed development will be introduced and discussed at the time by Mayor Michael Kohut and the developer.
The Village believes that the development of the Chair Factory Site is key to the overall revitalization of this waterfront community and that the chosen developer can truly realize the site’s strategic worth.
