NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be heard by the BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF HAVERSTRAW, County of Rockland, State of New York, in the Village Hall of the Village of Haverstraw, 40 New Main Street, 1st Floor, Haverstraw, New York 10927, on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 7:05 PM, to consider the following petition:
WESTHAB, INC., Petitioner:
Petition for the creation of a new overlay zoning district, to be known as the “Residential Inclusionary Zone for Affordable Housing (RIZ)”, to allow the construction, maintenance, and use of affordable multi-family residences. The overlay zone would be applied on a case-by-case basis to eligible properties upon application to the Board of Trustees.
All persons interested in this application are entitled to be heard at the Public Hearing. The complete application may be inspected at the Village Building Department at Village Hall, during regular business hours, and copies may be made upon request for a fee.
