LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, the undersigned Clerk/Treasurer of the Village of Haverstraw, NY have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes therein levied for the present year and will attend for the purpose of receiving such taxes from JUNE 1st TO AND INCLUDING JUNE 30th, from 9 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the afternoon, except for Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, at the Village Hall, 40 New Main Street, Haverstraw, NY.
Up to and including June 30, 2023, taxes will be received without interest or additional charge. After June 30, 2023, five percent (5%) of the total amount will be added as interest. After July 31, 2023 and each month thereafter, an additional one percent (1%) will be added until November 1, 2023, when the tax roll will be turned over to the County Treasurer for collection.
The Tax Roll is $211.50 on each $1000.00 of valuation.
